The pilot
A quiet display of real traffic above home. A small daily link back to the airspace they know.
redeemThe aviation gift they will leave on
Aviation gift guide. Live aircraft displays.
An aviation gift guide for the person who looks up. FlightAbove is a live aircraft display you can wrap: for pilots, spotters, people under a flightpath, and anyone who narrates every overhead.
Hardware is paid once, produced in the United Kingdom. 14-day returns. Allow 5 to 7 business days before dispatch. If you are not sure they actually go spotting, read what an AvGeek is. A dedicated object they will still be talking about in March.

Why it works as a gift
They already look up. This is the thing that stays on.
Most aviation gifts get a thank you and a drawer. FlightAbove goes on the desk and names the aircraft they can hear. Hardware is a one-time purchase. Live data and updates are included. Christmas has its own page if that is the date. Christmas gift for an AvGeek.

Who you are buying for
Pilots, spotters, and anyone who looks up.
The spotter
They already know the Tuesday widebody. FlightAbove puts the callsign on the desk before the phone is out.
Under the flightpath
The soundtrack of their house finally has names, types and routes.
The hard-to-buy-for
They have the jacket and the mug. This is a physical object with a job, produced in the United Kingdom.
The desk they sit at
A long-haul jet overhead is a better desk companion than another paperweight. You do not need to be obsessed to enjoy the glance.

From a buyer
"This "FlightAbove Mini" is very good. Rather than have to look up a well known flight tracker app on my Mobile Phone every time, this sits beside my chair and is on 12 hours a day. I got stuck with the initial setup but Customer Service were excellent and understanding. They gave me all the help I needed. At 4 inches the screen is small making some text hard to read. There are multiple screen options though and with a bit of trial and error, I found one setup which suited my eyes. Do I regret buying this item? Definitely no!! I'm sure there will be updates to come which can only improve this excellent piece of kit for Aviation Geeks 🙂."

Questions about gifting FlightAbove
Who is FlightAbove a good gift for?
Anyone who looks up when an aircraft goes over. Pilots, spotters, people who live under a flightpath, aviation-curious colleagues, and the person who is otherwise hard to buy for.
Do I need to know their exact model?
Altitude if you want the 5 inch desk centrepiece with sound. Horizon if you want the 7 inch widescreen. Mini if desk space is tight. Connect, a Raspberry Pi 4, if they already have a TV or monitor. Unsure? Ask us.
Will they have to set it up?
Yes, and it is short. Plug in, join Wi-Fi, and set a location from the screen or the web dashboard. Mini, Horizon and Altitude can be set on the glass. Connect uses the dashboard.
Is there a subscription on the hardware?
No. Mini, Horizon, Altitude and Connect are one-time purchases. Live data and updates are included.
How long does a hardware gift take?
Units are produced in the United Kingdom. Allow 5 to 7 business days before dispatch, then courier transit. Order earlier than you think for birthdays and Christmas.
Can I hide the invoice?
Yes. Tick the gift option at checkout and leave a note. We can keep invoices out of the box for a surprise.
What if they do not like it?
14-day returns on hardware. Easy to send back or swap if the size or model is not right.
Is the case like a shop-bought gadget?
Mini, Altitude and Connect cases are 3D printed in PLA+ or PETG, produced in the United Kingdom. Fine layer lines are expected. Horizon includes its desk display.
Can I buy more than one?
Yes. Buying more than one qualifies for a bulk discount. Flying schools, clubs and companies can tell us the quantity on the bulk gifting page and we will confirm the saving.
