Altitude is our flagship — a larger 5″ circular IPS display with a built-in speaker for sound alerts and four bezel colours to choose from. Mini uses a 4″ square IPS display in a more compact footprint with a single streamlined finish. Both run exactly the same FlightAbove software.

You choose blue, black, red, or orange at checkout. The colour you pick is what gets built and dispatched — same hardware and software regardless of which you choose.

The bezel is part of the physical unit and is not designed to be swapped after the fact. If you would like a different colour, that would mean a new unit. Choose carefully at checkout — and if you are unsure, blue is the classic.

Altitude has a built-in speaker. You can configure alert rules in the FlightAbove web app — for example, trigger a sound when a specific airline, registration, or aircraft type passes overhead. Volume is adjustable and alerts can be muted entirely from the web app.

No. FlightAbove Altitude is a one-time purchase. Live aircraft data, OTA updates, and all web app features are included with no ongoing subscription.

No. Altitude is an all-in-one device — display and FlightAbove hardware are built into the same unit. Plug into power, set up WiFi from the web app, and you are flying.

Most customers are on WiFi and seeing live traffic within a couple of minutes. The quick-start card walks you through the power and web app WiFi flow.

FlightAbove keeps showing the last known picture of the sky and reconnects automatically when your network returns — no need to power-cycle the unit.
