Data Bays are dedicated information slots built into every display face. Weather, world clocks, live flight status and the date — all updated automatically, all visible at a glance.
Each bay is independently configured from your phone dashboard. Change it whenever you like — it updates on the display in seconds.
Every FlightAbove display has reserved slots around the clock face specifically for live data. You decide what fills each one — and you can change it at any time.

Each position configurable independently
One above the time, one below it
The simplest bay type. Assign any bay to show today's date and it just works — no setup, always accurate, always visible.
The format is clear and readable at a distance: the abbreviated month and day in a style that matches the rest of your display face.
Example display formats
Weather data is pulled live for your exact location — the same coordinates your device uses to detect aircraft. Pick any of 20+ data points per bay, updated automatically.
All weather data is live. It is fetched for your device's configured location and refreshes automatically. You do not need to set up a weather service — it works as soon as you enable the bay.
Assign any bay to show the current time in a city of your choice — updated live, always accurate. Perfect for remote teams, family abroad, or keeping up with international colleagues.
Pick from the searchable list in your dashboard. The city name and current time appear directly on the display, no phone needed once it's configured.

Assign a bay to follow any flight in the world. Status refreshes automatically — arrival time, delays, gate changes — all shown on your display without touching your phone.
Enter an IATA flight number — the airline code plus the number shown on your boarding pass. FlightStats keeps the status updated throughout the flight's journey.
Example flight numbers
IATA code: airline letters + flight number. Found on boarding passes and booking confirmations.
Enter an ICAO callsign — the radio identifier used by air traffic control. Powered by FlightAware. Useful for cargo flights, charter flights or military traffic that don't use standard flight numbers.
Example callsigns
ICAO callsign: usually 3-letter airline code + flight number. Used by ATC and on ADS-B trackers.
Refreshes automatically
Flight status is refreshed approximately every 30 minutes on your display. Once you've set a flight number or callsign in the dashboard, no further action is needed — it updates itself throughout the day.
