Data Bays are dedicated information slots around every display face. Date, live weather, world clocks, and a specific flight, updated automatically and visible at a glance. Each bay is set on its own from the FlightAbove web app, and the display updates in seconds.
What are Data Bays?
The sky is the headline. The bays fill the rest of the face.
A FlightAbove is an always-on aircraft display first. Data bays are the reserved slots around that face. You decide what fills each one, and you can change it at any time. You set them once from the web app in any browser. After that, the display looks after itself.

The format is clear and readable at a distance: the abbreviated month and day, in a style that matches the rest of the display face.

Assign any bay to show the current time in a city of your choice, updated live. Useful for remote teams, family abroad, or keeping up with people in another timezone.
Pick from the searchable list in the FlightAbove web app. The city name and current time appear on the display. No further action once it is configured.

Flight tracking
Track a specific flight, in a bay.
Assign a bay to follow a flight. Status refreshes on the display: arrival time, delays and gate changes, without opening another app.

Enter an IATA flight number, the airline code plus the number shown on your boarding pass. FlightStats keeps the status updated throughout the flight.

Track by callsign
Enter an ICAO callsign, the radio identifier used by air traffic control. Powered by FlightAware. Useful for cargo, charter, or military traffic that does not use a standard flight number.

Refreshes automatically
Flight status is refreshed approximately every 30 minutes on your display. Once you have set a flight number or callsign in the FlightAbove web app, no further action is needed. It updates itself throughout the day.

Every bay is configured in the FlightAbove web app. Tap a bay position, pick what it should show, and it updates on the display when you save.
- check Tap any bay position to open the bay selector
- check Switch between Date, Weather, World Clock and Flight tabs
- check Changes apply to your display the moment you save
- check Each bay is independent. Mix and match freely
- 1 Open the Bays section In the FlightAbove web app, scroll to Clock Bays and enable them with the toggle.
- 2 Tap a bay position For analogue: choose 12, 3, 6 or 9 o'clock. For digital: above or below the time.
- 3 Pick your data type Select Date, Weather, World Clock or Flight Tracking from the tab bar.
- 4 Choose the specific field Pick temperature, a city, a flight number, or whatever you want shown in that bay.
- 5 Save. It updates live Your display refreshes within seconds. Repeat for each bay you want to fill.

Yes. World Clock bays cover 50+ cities. Search by name or country in the web app. Daylight saving changes are handled automatically.
Can a bay follow a specific flight?
Yes. Track by IATA flight number or ICAO callsign. Status refreshes on the display about every 30 minutes once you have set it.
Do I need a phone app?
No. The FlightAbove web app runs in any modern browser. Log in, change a bay, and the device syncs.
Are data bays a paid extra?
No. Hardware is a one-time purchase and includes the software. Cloud is the optional browser subscription if you already have a screen.
How long does hardware take to build?
Produced in the United Kingdom. Allow 5 to 7 business days to build the hardware before dispatch, then courier transit.
